Who We Are
Thoughtcraft was founded by Dr. Kate Grauvogel, MPH, a senior proposal strategist with extensive experience supporting competitive federal funding efforts across research and government contracting environments. Prior to founding Thoughtcraft, Kate held leadership roles in university research development and industry proposal teams, working closely with investigators, technical staff, and business leadership on complex, high-value submissions. Thoughtcraft’s work is supported by a networked team of certified proposal professionals and PhD-trained researchers from a range of disciplines, assembled to meet the technical, strategic, and compliance demands of each engagement. This model allows Thoughtcraft to deliver experienced judgment and subject-matter depth while remaining flexible, targeted, and responsive to client needs.
